The Rosie Way

I'm a passionate chef with a background in healthy, wholesome, home-cooked food.

While I take inspiration from cuisines all over the world, I aim to use seasonal and local produce to create nourishing meals that do not compromise on flavour.

I know that many people are often limited in what they can eat, and I am dedicated to ensuring that everyone can enjoy diverse and delicious food, no matter their dietary requirements.

Whether you are hosting a yoga retreat, outdoor adventure, creative event, celebration or a relaxed get-together, my goal is to enhance your experience with real good food.

My Story

I have over twenty-five years of experience catering in different kitchens for different people and have travelled the world through food. I specialise in putting together interesting, inclusive and delicious feasts of food.

After ten years cooking vegetarian food at The Great Oak Cafe in Llanidloes, I became Manager and Head Chef of Relish at Oriel Davies in Newtown. Seven years later, I joined the team at The Lost Arc in Rhayader as Head Chef, where I delivered a monthly world food themed pop-up event, as well as cooking varied menus day-to-day.

I set up Rosie's Real Good Food fifteen years ago, and over the years have catered for a diverse range of events, from weddings to business residencies to family reunions. I have met so many interesting people with whom I have been able to share my love of food, which is really what I love to do.

I am passionate about creating healthy, vibrant food that is as colourful on the palate as it is on the plate, that nourishes your body and puts a smile on your face.

I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities. Let's connect.
